Welcome to the ACA Chapter Website

This year's Annual ACA Chapter Service Project and 3rd Quarter ACA Chapter meeting will be held in the beautiful scenery and cool air of Camp Emerson in Idyllwild. Every year we visit the camp and help out with the OA Day activities during the BSA Summercamp program. This year we will be helping with the afternoon service project and the evening OA campfire. The second Ordeal of the year was held in the beginning of June at Camp Helendade. We had 3 local Scouts and an Adult join our Brotherhood of Cheerful Service.

OA members are encouraged to serve their fellow Scouts by serving as an Elangomat at the Ordeal. If you have been an Ordeal member for the least 10 months, then you can seal your ties of Brotherhood by attaining Brotherhood status at the Ordeal. There are only 2 Ordeals left for this year. Please encourage fellow OA members to join us at these Ordeals to welcome new members.

6/30/08: Vidcast 3 has been released. Vidcast 3 focuses on the adventures of 4 Arrowmen from the ACA Chapter that attended the Manti-La Sal Service Project of ArrowCorps5 in Utah. Included are interviews with the National Chief and the National First Vice Chief of the Order of the Arrow.

6/22/08: Four ACA Chapter members have come back from the Manti-La Sal project near Huntington, Utah. They were among the more than 60 Arrowmen from Cahuilla Lodge that participated in this event. A full article about "AC5" will be posted in the next couple of weeks.

6/7/2008: Three youth and 1 adult from the Coachella Valley join our Order at the Ordeal held at Camp Helendade. There are only 2 Ordeals left in the year and more than half our eligible Scouts and Scouters need to attend to join our Order.

ACA Chapter Vidcast 2 has been released.

Chapter's Arrow of Light Team performs the first AOL Ceremony of the year for Pack 908 in Hemet... Yes, Hemet.

Agua Caliente Clan meetings have been moved to the 4th Tuesday of the month.

2008 Sunrise District Dinner
7 A members came to the District Dinner on Jan. 18. They helped to set up and take down tables for the dinner, and the youth performed the opening flag ceremony. There was also a small OA booth set up featuring information about the Order of the Arrow.

ACA Chapter Vidcast 1 has been released.

The annual Winter Potluck was held on February 9 at the LDS Building in Palm Desert. Forty five OA members and their families came for an evening of surprises, fellowship and fun. The theme to this year's potluck was the grand opening of a 5 star restaurant. Click here for more information.
