This is an excellent hike for the adventurous. The ladder hike is a very popular day hike that wanders through some spectacular slot canyons. But, at night the entire area takes on a whole other otherworldly feel. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to hike on Mars, then this might be pretty close.

Due to the terrain and night time hiking conditions, this hike is limited to older Scouts ages 14 and above and experienced adults hikers. This isn't a very long hike, but it can be a challenge.

Any Troops that would like to participate in this hike are asked to provide at least 1 adult leader to participate in the hike. A group touring plan will be filed for this hike by the Aca Chapter. All Scouts and adult leaders must register ahead of time to go on this hike.

If you would like to register to be a part of this hike or if you have any questions, then please contact the Aca Chapter by emailing acachapter@gmail.com. pr call 760-537-0394.
