Need a little adventure in your weekend? Need some ideas for something to do? If so, then welcome to our playground☺

Welcome to the homepage of our outdoor program, "Aca Getting Out There". This webpage serves to provide information for Aca Chapter's high adventure activities. It also is for Scout Units to use as a guide to some of our local Arrowmen's favorite hiking trails and camping spots around the greater Coachella Valley and Morongo Basin.

Our main high adventure activity for 2012 is the Black Canyon Trek. This is a kayak and canoe trip on the Colorado River through the famed Black Canyon.

Our featured hike section are day or overnight hikes that are organized by local Order of the Arrow members for Scout Units to join. These hikes are held a few times a year and range from moderate day hikes for new Scouts to much more adventurous weekend treks for older Scouts.

The "Our Favorite Places" Guide is a list some of our Arrowmen's favorite areas to go camping or hiking. From the well known areas in Joshua Tree National Park to the some of the hidden gems like Lake Cahuilla or Whitewater Canyon, we'll very likely have a place of any skill level for your group to visit.

Please use the links at the top of this page to explore some of the high adventure activities, events, hikes, or guides that we have listed for you.
