About
Us
ACA
Chapter serves the
Sunrise District of the California Inland Empire Council. Due
the size and geography of the Sunrise District our Chapter is
divided into 2 Clans:
Agua Caliente Clan and
Chemehuevie Clan.
Its divided much like how Cahuilla Lodge is divided onto several
Chapters. This helps to administer Order of the Arrow programs
and operations on a local level.
Both
Agua Caliente and
Chemehuevie
Clans each hold their own monthly meetings, perform Arrow of
Light Ceremonies for local Cub Scout Packs, and perform their
own service projects for the community. Once every quarter
(every 3 months) both Clans officially meet together as a
Chapter for the Annual ACA Chapter Potluck (January), Sunrise District
Spring Camporee (April), Service Project and Chapter Meeting at Camp
Emerson (August), and Cahuilla Lodge Fall Fellowship (October).
ACA Chapter has several
award winning programs. Our
Camp Promotion Booth is literally
one of the best in southern California and number one in the
Lodge. Our Ceremony Teams are well known for quality Arrow of
Light Ceremonies, Ordeal Ceremonies, and our annual Callout
Ceremony is always a favorite of local Scouts.
We are the only Chapter in Cahuilla
Lodge to earn the status of "Honor Chapter" for the last
6
years. The energy and enthusiasm of our Arrowmen can hardly be
matched.
