The annual Cahuilla Lodge Fall Fellowship was held at Camp Emerson on October 3-5. The members of the Aca Chapter had their best performance yet at this year’s Fall Fellowship. This was the second time in the last 3 years that Aca has hosted the this event. Chris Bergh served as the Fall Fellowship Chairman and Jocy McManus served as the adult adviser. Our Chapter earned the Chapter Excellence award for our overall programs and the Negami award as the best performing Chapter of the weekend. Tahquitz Chapter won the Spirit Award for their outstanding energy. Click here for a full recap, photos and video of the weekend.

This is a day long course that is put on once a year for all of the 2009 Lodge and Chapter Officers. It is highly encouraged for all Clan and Chapter Officers to attend this training. Of course, it is open to all Arrowmen, youth and adult.

9/20/08: Several ACA Chapter members came together to run the September Ordeal at Camp

Helendade on Setpember 19-21. Over 70 candidates were registered to attend, making this the largest Ordeal of the year. William Winn and Wendy Hodge both did an excellent job as the Ordeal Master and adult adviser. Daniel Perry, Tyler Beltran, Geoffrey McManus, Ryan Romero, and Charlie Stump made up one of the Ceremony teams that performed the Ordeal Ceremony. Steve Cambon, Jonathan Cambon, and Josh Rios served their fellow Scouts by serving as Elangomats at this Ordeal. Click here to visit the photo gallery page to see photos from the Ordeal.

8/26/08: Special thanks to Tara and Fawn Cambon for building the Chapter's new Ceremony Team regalia. They sewed together 8 new ribbon shirts, pants and breech cloths that has already been used

for an Arrow of Light Ceremony and at every OA Campfire at Summercamp that was held at Camp Emerson.

8/24/08: 8 New Ordeal members join the ACA Chapter and 2 other Arrowmen from our Chapter seal their ties in Brotherhood. All at the August Ordeal held at Camp Emerson.

8/6/08: 4 ACA Chapter members helped with the OA Day Service Project at Camp Emerson and the OA Campfire at Summercamp at Camp Emerson. The Aug. ACA Chapter meeting was also held at camp on that evening.

7/14/08: ACA Chapter has volunteered to run the 2008 Cahuilla Lodge Fall Fellowship, October 3-5 at Camp Emerson.

7/23/08: ACA Chapter members travel to Camp Emerson almost every Wednesday throughout July and August to help out with the OA Campfire at the Council's BSA Summercamp.

6/30/08: Vidcast 3 has been released. Vidcast 3 focuses on the adventures of 4 Arrowmen from the ACA Chapter that attended the Manti-La Sal Service Project of ArrowCorps5 in Utah. Included are interviews with the National Chief and the National First Vice Chief of the Order of the Arrow.

6/22/08: Four ACA Chapter members have come back from the Manti-La Sal project near Huntington, Utah. They were among the more than 60 Arrowmen from Cahuilla Lodge that participated in this event. A full article about "AC5" will be posted in the next couple of weeks.
