This is a secret page for the members of our Chapter to share our plans for
the Fall Fellowship. This is so no other Chapters within Cahuilla Lodge can find
out our Gig plans. There are no direct links to access this page from the rest
of the website.

Theme: There are many good moccasin tracks
along the path of a straight arrow
When: October 3-5, 2008
Where: Camp Emerson on the Bosecker Scout
Reservation, Idyllwild, CA
Program Highlights: Chili Cookoff, "OA
Idol" Talent Contest, Saturday Night Campfire, Lodge Officer Elections, New
Vigil Honor Recognitions, Great Training Sessions,
and a Whole Bunch of Fun
The 2008 Fall Fellowship will be
October 4-6 at Camp Emerson in Idyllwild. This is
the biggest OA event of the year within Cahuilla Lodge. This is the time when our
ceremony teams, camp promotion team, Chapter events over the year and spirit
come together in one place.
Every year our Chapter creates a
"Gig" to help focus our spirit and energy. We like to choose a uniquely themed
Gig that will help make our Chapter standout. Our
Gig for this year will be Scotland Highlander.
Kilts
Kilts will be provided by the ACA Chapter. We
just need to know who has enough Spirit to wear one at the Fall Fellowship. A
few parents have graciously volunteered to build kilts for the those Arrowmen
who would like to wear one to show off their Chapter Spirit.
Arrowmen from our Chapter are not required to wear a kilt during the weekend.
This is only being provided as an extra option to our event Gig.
If you would like to join several other Chapter members that will be
wearing kilts as part of the Gig, then please
contact us
with your name and measurements so that a kilt can be provided to you. A $15
donation is asked for to help purchase the kilt fabric. Details for the needed
measurements can be found below.
Items such as derby caps and sporrans (Gaelic for "purse": a type of
pouch worn on the front of the kilt) and belts will not be provided. Individuals
will have to provide their own costuming accessories.
Needed Measurements
The measurements needed are: waist size; hip measurements (measured
the same as the waist, but is the circumference of the body across the hips and
buttocks); and length from the waist to just below the knee (the length of the
kilt typically ends just below the knee).
For more information about proper measurements, parts and history of the kilt,

Highland Games
As is ACA tradition, we will be holding highland games during lunch. Events
that will be held include caber toss, weight throw, and hammer throw.
OA Idol Talent Contest
Needless to say that our entry into the talent
Contest will be an appropriate Scottish Highlander dance. Announcements and
volunteers will be made in the coming weeks.
Chili Cookoff
Each Chapter is being asked to provide a team of 2 youth and 2 adults
to take part in the Chili Cookoff. Please let us know if you are interested in
showing off your cooking skills.
Please check back soon for the latest information and plans
that our Chapter has for our part in this years Fall Fellowship.
