Camp Promotion

    One of the purposes of the Order of the Arrow is to “maintain camping traditions and spirit”.  One of the ways that accomplish this is through promoting different places to go camping and hiking to local Scout Units. Also, we encourage Units to visit our local Council camps, Camp Emerson and Camp Helendade.

    The highlight of ACA Chapter’s camp promotion program is our award winning camp promotion booth. It’s set up and almost every major Sunrise District event and some Council level events. In it you will find information on several places to go camping, hiking, and even day tripping. Also, we have extensive information about the many programs offered at Camp Emerson and Camp Helendade.
